Are your forms accessible?
Hey Demo,
Turns out, improving accessibility for those with special needs also makes life easier for all visitors. That means fewer drop-offs, better completion rates, and a smoother experience for all.
Here are three things you can do to make your forms more accessible right away:
- Add labels. Every input should have an explicit . It gives screen reader context and a larger click target for everyone.
- Mind focus order. A logical tab sequence and a visible focus ring keep keyboard users (and power users) from getting lost.
- Make errors clear. Inline messages, tied to inputs with aria-describedby , reduce confusion and help people fix mistakes fast.
And a bonus quick win: check your color contrast. Text should be at least 4:5:1 and UI parts like buttons should reach 3:1.
These small steps will make your form inclusive while also reducing friction for every visitor.
